Students learn of God's love for them, and how the spiritual and moral teachings of The Bible and Science and Health can help them every day, in every situation. There is also time for lively question and answer discussions.
Designed to serve the spiritual needs of our community, our Christian Science Reading Room offers an oasis for quiet study, research, prayer, and healing.
The Christian Science Organization at Dartmouth College provides a community for those who use the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy as part of a spiritual approach to all aspects of their campus life. Interactive group meetings are held at the Christian Science church on School Street, right across from campus. Students, faculty and staff discuss spiritual ideas, insights and experiences regarding their lives and campus issues. Anyone from the campus community is welcome to join us for any of our meetings.

Christian Science teaches that God is Love and that we are all His beloved children. Christian Scientists understand that God is not distant and unknowable, but that God is all-encompassing, knowable, and always present. Each individual is loved by Father-Mother God, cared for, and made in God’s image—spiritual, not material.
Understanding God's nature and His power leads to healing in individual lives, in the community, and the world. Above all, Christian Scientists believe in the saving, healing power of God’s love—that no one is beyond redemption, that no problem is too entrenched or overwhelming to be addressed and healed. In other words, Christian Scientists don’t believe that salvation occurs at some point in the future, but that the presence of God’s goodness can be experienced here and now—and by everyone.
